PARK HYATT
Milan, Italy
The Hyatt Park Hotel was originally a bank built in the 1870s. The building’s exterior is made of Italian Travertine Limestone with black marble inlay. It has a Baroque style, inspired by the Duomo with Milanese architectural details. The hotel has a total of 106 suites each averaging around 400 square feet, which is a more modern style with wooden
details. The hotel opens to the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II which is a nineteenth-century arcade that is surrounded by
glass.
Original concept by Steven W. Miller and Peter Inston, RIBA.
