MEKKAH KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA

Saudi Arabia

The Makkah Resort was designed to be a modular system with around 1,400 modules. Each module was to be 3.8 and 16 meters to ensure that it could be easily transported along narrow roads in the area. Each module is fully insulated and weatherproof to prevent damage to the interior during transport. The façade would consist of a backing system that would be able to support glass-reinforced concrete panels. The most prominent issue with the site was the topography, which is why modules were considered.
